Why we joined the At Your Side family

Jessica and Elie purchased At Your Side Home Care from Steven and Evelyn Urenda in June 2026. “Our passion is to help others live their best lives. We initially got into home care after Jessica’s mom suffered a stroke, and our family struggled to find reliable, qualified caregivers. Our first client was Jessica’s mom, Sweetie. We bring that same level of dedication to each client and their family.”

Our team’s commitment to our clients and their families truly sets us apart. From those working behind the scenes in the office to our caregivers, we show up for our clients with a servant heart. Sometimes that means providing clients with consistent daily care. Other times, it means helping families problem-solve and navigate this stage of life. Whatever our clients and their families need, we are here.

Who we are

Jessica built her career in the non-profit sector working to help improve the lives of children, families and seniors, most recently as the co-founder of Impact100 Houston. She received her BS in Communication Studies from the University of Texas.

Elie is a successful entrepreneur, primarily in residential and commercial real estate in the Houston community. He received his BA in Business Management from the University of Texas.

They are proud parents to four children between them. When not serving clients, they enjoy running and spending time with their family.

Our Caregivers

Each of our professional caregivers is experienced and trained in home care best practices. We also ensure they meet a rigorous 10-step hiring process. All caregivers are provided with continuous education to ensure the most up-to-date care techniques are used when caring for our clients.

During Your Personalized Home Visit We Will:

Look at the living space with your loved one's specific concerns in mind
