Meet the Owners, Steven and Evelyn Urenda
Steven and Evelyn Urenda purchased the Franchise branch of At Your Side Home Care in the NW Houston Area from David and Laura Hittler in July of 2022. The office is located at 8203 Willow Place South Suite 345 Houston, TX 77070.
Our services ensure that our clients can remain at ease in their own homes while receiving assistance with their daily obligations. We want to make sure that they are working on their activities of daily living while receiving assistance from our caregivers because these tasks may be challenging for them to complete on their own. We provide a variety of services, including grocery delivery, assistance with personal hygiene, and companionship. There is no task that is too small or unimportant for our caregivers.
Evelyn first entered this field in 2013, working as a caregiver for people with intellectual disabilities. "Serving those around me has always felt like a calling from God. In elementary school, I used to assist the special education teachers during break. As an adult, I continue to give "care packages" to the homeless and those in need. I emphasize how difficult it may be to ask for help and try to be as helpful as I can ". I am passionate about helping those in need since God has asked us to do so (Isaiah 58:10).
Steven has always been fascinated by this field because his mother has been a certified nurse assistant for more than 30 years. “It is a pleasure to be able to assist them, and for me, this is about showing respect to the generation that came before us because they paved the road for all of us”.
Whether a client only requires assistance once a week to ensure that they are showering or if they require care around-the-clock, we will make sure to assist them. We understand the frustration that comes with these issues and do everything in our power to guarantee that our clients are treated with compassion and integrity because everyone deserves to feel loved and cared for.
