My commitment to exceptional in-home care began when my mother founded the agency in 2003. For the past two decades, I have been actively involved in supporting thousands of families through their aging and medical journeys.<\/p>

While this family business always felt like my calling, my passion for the work stems from the opportunity to connect with people individually, helping them navigate the often chaotic and overwhelming aging and medical processes. My personal mission is rooted in a simple principle: \u201cTo allow those under my care to take charge of their aging process and stay living where they want to be living.\u201d I am committed to sending only caregivers to a client\u2019s home whom I would have trusted with my own Grandfather\u2019s care.<\/p>

For most individuals, caring for 1 or 2 elders in a lifetime is the extent of their experience. This is an emotionally charged time, and successfully navigating the complex healthcare system truly requires a village. I opened an At Your Side Home Care location because I know when people are in crisis, they need help and support. They need an advocate and friend. They need beauty in every moment. That\u2019s where I fit best. To me, the most meaningful jobs are the ones where people help people. I wanted that job.<\/span><\/p>

Since opening in 2003, it has been my mission to improve the quality of life for both my clients and their families through compassionate service and heart-centered care. It\u2019s important to me to help people get through things they can\u2019t get through on their own.<\/span><\/p>

The most important moments I have with clients are the small ones: Listening to stories. Looking at the joy on their family members\u2019 faces. Being present. To me, that\u2019s part of being authentic and letting people be who they really are. When you let people be their authentic selves, you\u2019re accepting life for all it has to offer. I want my clients to be their authentic selves and have the capability of living their lives how they want to during this life transition.<\/span><\/p>

We do a lot of laughing. We are alive, alert, enthusiastic and authentic. A lot of things happen in life, and you can either cry about them or laugh about them. We always choose laughter.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>
